This was a limited edition pipe that is no longer in production. Thankfully, I have a few still in stock! Missouri Meerschaum took the basic shape of the mammoth Freehand pipe and shrunk the bowl down a bit. It's still a large bowl for a cob, but less heavy. Add a colored, swirled orange acrylic non-filtered bit, silver colored metal bushing, and a unique orange-reddish stain on the cob, and you've got quite the looker!
Due to the nature of the corn cobs themselves, you may notice some chipping on the top edge of your pipe. This is perfectly normal and won't in any way affect the way your pipe smokes. These chips only add to the charm and character of corn cob pipes.
Pipe Nook Notes
This is an unfiltered pipe. If you are looking for a first pipe or are fairly new to pipe smoking, I strongly recommend trying a 6mm or 9mm filtered pipe. If you're one of the many who battle the dreaded tongue-bite, filtered pipes help to alleviate this problem. You can always try smoking your filtered pipes without a filter in place, to see if unfiltered smoking irritates your tongue, and can purchase non-filtered pipes from there. If you already know that tongue-bite is not an issue for you, then never mind. :)
