Per G. Jensen

Per Jensen and his family are royalty in the pipe smoking world. Named after his father Per Georg Jensen, he grew up working from the age of 9 alongside his father, who was a pipe maker in Denmark (Georg Jensen Pipes, est. 1954). After his father’s passing, Per and his family continued the Georg Jensen brand for another 23 years, until they finally sold it in 2001. Switching gears towards pipe tobacco, Per spent 22 years as a blender at Mac Baren, where he created some of my favorite blends, most notably the HH Mac Baren line. When Mac Baren acquired Sutliff, he created several Sutliff blends, including the Pipe Force collection. Now, in the aftermath of Sutliff and Mac Baren’s acquisition by Scandinavian Tobacco Group, and the inexplicable gutting of those pipe tobacco brands, Per has found an oasis at Cornell & Diehl with a new partnership and a new line of tobaccos: The Per G. Jensen Legacy Collection.

The Per G. Jensen Legacy Collection presents four distinctive Danish-American pipe tobacco blends, inspired by the life, legacy, and personal smoking preferences of Per's father, Per Georg Jensen, a Danish Navy veteran who left a lasting mark on the pipe community. Each blend is carefully crafted by Cornell & Diehl under the guidance of Per Jensen.
